Do they contain animal protein ingredients?
Botox contains the protein albumin, which adds another argument to the claim that it is forbidden in Islam.
Our blood plasma contains this naturally occurring protein, which is made in our liver. Blood from people is also used to make medicinal albumin.
Some academics, elders, Iman, and Muslims generally agree that many animal byproducts are forbidden in Islam.
However, since albumin comes naturally from humans, does it constitute an animal protein? You must determine how you will understand this before making a choice.
